TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE ONLINE STORE
The owner of the online store veinjagurmee.ee (hereinafter referred to as the Online Store) is Capercaillia OÜ (registry code 12817781), located in Harju County, Tallinn, Haabersti district, Landi tn 3, 13516.
Validity of the Sales Agreement, Product and Price Information
The terms and conditions apply to the purchase of goods from the Online Store.
The prices of the products sold in the Online Store are indicated next to the products. The price includes a fee for the delivery of the goods. All prices for the products sold in the online store are in euros.
The cost of delivery depends on the location of the buyer and the method of delivery. The delivery fee is displayed to the buyer when placing the order.
Information about the product is provided directly alongside the product in the Online Store.
Placing an Order
To order goods, add the desired products to the shopping cart. To complete the order, fill in the required fields and select the appropriate delivery method. Then, the total fee will be displayed on the screen, which can be securely paid using the following payment methods:
- Estonian bank payments: Swedbank, SEB, Luminor, LHV, Coop Bank, Citadele
- Visa/Mastercard payments
Payments are processed by Maksekeskus AS. The payment is made outside the Online Store in a secure environment – when paying via bank link, in the secure environment of the respective bank, and when paying by credit card, in the secure environment of Maksekeskus AS. The seller does not have access to the customer’s bank or credit card information. The contract enters into force upon receipt of the payment in the Online Store’s bank account.
The owner of the Online Store is the controller of personal data and forwards the personal data necessary for the execution of payments to the authorized processor Maksekeskus AS.
Alcohol will only we sold to clients of age, who have confirmed to be 18 years old upon placing the order. The customers age will be checked upon delivery and the seller has the right to refuse giving over the goods, if the client cannot prove their age upon delivery.
If the ordered goods cannot be delivered due to the goods being out of stock or for any other reason, the buyer will be notified as soon as possible and the paid amount (including delivery costs) will be refunded immediately, but no later than 14 days after the notice is sent.
Delivery
Goods are delivered only within Estonia.
The buyer has the following options for receiving the goods:
- Courier service (delivered personally by the store owner)
The delivery costs are borne by the buyer, and the relevant pricing information is displayed next to the delivery method.
Domestic shipments generally reach the buyer’s designated destination within 2-5 working days from the conclusion of the sales contract.
Right to File a Complaint
The Online Store is responsible for any non-conformity or defect of the goods sold to the buyer that existed at the time of delivery and which becomes apparent within two years from the date of delivery of the goods to the buyer. During the first year after the delivery of the goods to the buyer, it is presumed that the defect already existed at the time of delivery. The Online Store is responsible for disproving this presumption.
The buyer has the right to contact the Online Store no later than two months after discovering a defect by sending an email to hilje@veinjagurmee.ee or by calling +372 56667701.
The Online Store is not responsible for defects that have occurred after the goods have been delivered to the buyer.
If a product purchased from the Online Store has defects for which the Online Store is responsible, the Online Store will repair or replace the defective product. If the product cannot be repaired or replaced, the Online Store will refund all fees incurred under the sales contract to the buyer.
The Online Store will respond to the consumer’s complaint in writing or in a format that allows for written reproduction within 15 days.
Direct Marketing and Personal Data Processing
The Online Store uses the personal data entered by the buyer only for processing the order and delivering the goods to the buyer. The Online Store forwards personal data to the logistics company to ensure the delivery of the goods.
The Online Store sends newsletters and offers to the buyer’s email address only if the buyer has expressed a desire to receive such notifications by entering their email address on the website and indicating their wish to receive direct mail notifications.
The buyer can opt-out of receiving offers and newsletters at any time by notifying us via email or by following the instructions provided in the promotional email.
Dispute Resolution
If the buyer has any complaints regarding the Online Store, they should be sent via email to hilje@veinjagurmee.ee or by calling +372 56667701.
If the buyer and the Online Store are unable to resolve the dispute by agreement, the buyer can contact the Consumer Disputes Committee. The procedure can be found and the application submitted here. The Consumer Disputes Committee is authorized to resolve disputes arising from the contract between the buyer and the Online Store. The review of the buyer’s complaint by the committee is free of charge.
The buyer can also contact the European Union’s online dispute resolution platform.
